In each of its venues, Erasmus on Scene annually opens a call for participation to the student community and selects a group from among all the candidates presented: 70% incoming “Erasmus” students, 25% students enrolled in the university and 5% non-university migrants.
The chosen candidates take part in an acting training workshop and present a professional show. The show is performed for weeks in the city and then it goes to the villages of “The Little Europas”. It is written by consolidated authors after consulting with the group itself, and the theme should focus on Europe.
At the same time, the group participates in numerous activities organised by the university itself or by other institutions: It is responsible for official receptions, inaugurating European events, participating in the construction of integration spaces in the city, raising awareness or creating visibility in streets and public spaces.
